My name is Lacie Metso. I live in Silver Creek just outside Clearwater, MN. I have 3 children, high school, middle school and grade school. I have a lovely supportive husband of 17 years who is so patient with my crazy love for animal care taking.

I have been pet sitting since the late 90s while in high school, thru college and then professionally as an adult. I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Science the University of MN. I worked at the MN Zoo at the Family Farm as well as the Bird Show from 2003-2004. I owned and operated Pawtastic! Pet Care LLC with my business partner from 2015 to 2020. The business is still being operated by my business partner after I sold her my portion during COVID. I returned to the working corporate environment to support my family more financially. I am still a full time employee but have decided (due to some more free time) to start pet sitting again as it has always been my one true passion since 8 years of age.

I have 3 dogs, 18 ducks/chickens, two rabbits and two tortoises.

I have experience with pocket pets, cats, dogs, chickens, pigs, horses, goats and even the reptile varieties such as snakes, frogs and turtles.

I bring my services to you by coming to your home and allowing your pets to be where they are most comfortable and happy.

Daily rate range $50-$100/ day depending on location, care duties, time it takes for quality care and size of your farm
